675 Service Lane Tech
This class is required for Service Manager & Fixed Operations Director Certifications. The purpose of this course is to teach the manager how to deploy a service-lane technician role that pre-inspects every vehicle before the advisor writes the repair order.
The student will learn the following impact items:
- The financial case for a dedicated service-lane technician
- Defining the role, pay plan, and daily scorecard
- Integrating the lane tech into the advisor’s walk-around
- Capturing missed maintenance and tire revenue on every visit
- Measuring incremental hours-per-RO from the lane-tech program
