601 Role of Manager
This class is required for Service Manager, Parts Manager, & Fixed Operations Director Certifications. The purpose of this course is to define the true role of a fixed operations manager and separate it from the senior-technician or super-advisor mindset.
The student will learn the following impact items:
- What managers do that producers cannot do for themselves
- The three jobs of a manager: lead people, manage process, hit numbers
- The daily, weekly, and monthly cadence of an effective manager
- Time-blocking the manager’s calendar around the right activities
- The common manager traps and how to escape them
